Draft prepared for Simenity. Have a qualified lawyer review it before publishing, and replace every highlighted field in square brackets with your own details.
In short
The website sets no advertising cookies.
Two small items in your browser make page transitions and the checklist work.
Fonts and network logos load from third-party servers, which see your IP address.
The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in.
01What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser. Browser storage (local and session storage) works the same way but never travels to a server on its own. We use both sparingly.
02On this website
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| px | Session storage | Plays the pixel transition when you move between pages | Until the tab closes |
| simenity-checklist | Local storage | Remembers your ticks on the pre-launch checklist | Until you clear it |
Neither is used to identify or track you, and neither is sent to us.
03In the app
| Category | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps you signed in, protects forms from forgery, remembers your workspace | No; the app does not work without them |
| Preferences | Remembers your theme and table settings | Yes |
| Analytics | Measures which features are used, with [analytics provider] | Yes; off until you agree |
04Third-party requests
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts and network logos from a public icon service. Your browser sends your IP address to those servers to fetch them. They set no cookies through our pages. We plan to host both ourselves before launch.
05Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies and storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the app from working; blocking everything else changes nothing important. Where the law requires consent, the app asks before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice in settings at any time.
06Changes and contact
